Edmund Powell
The Rt Rev Edmund Nathanael Powell, DD was Bishop of Mashonaland 〔(National Archives )〕 from 1908 to 1910.〔”The Clergy List” London, Kelly’s, 1913〕
He was born in Buckhurst Hill on 2 September 1859,〔(Halhed genealogy )〕 educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Oxford 〔''University Intelligence Oxford, June 5'' The Times Saturday, Jun 06, 1885; pg. 13; Issue 31466; col E〕 and ordained in 1884.
